Mumbai gets cold at 11c,panvel faces chill at 8.6c...Gujarat freezess

Here we welcome 2020 with back to back WD's

The western disturbance (J3) is about to approach India on 13th January 2020.This western disturbance is likely to cause widespread rain and snow over the hills of  J&K.Delhi ,Haryana,Punjab,Rajasthan,UP,Bihar,Vidharbha, and some parts of Gujarat will also experience rain and Tstorm activity.

This western disturbance will be followed by another one on 16th JAN which will again give rainy days to the northern plains..Once these WD's move away, there will be a sharp drop in temperatures all over the Northern Plains..there could be severe cold wave conditions with dense fog at some places .

While the Desert country of UAE has received huge amounts of rain...all credit to a strong WD plus the cloud seeding system of the UAE.
